TEAM Jaffrey is a non-profit organization of volunteers that promotes community and economic development through downtown revitalization activities in order to make downtown Jaffrey a great place to work, shop, live and play.

TEAM Jaffrey operates under the direction of an eleven member volunteer Board of Directors that oversees the work of volunteers and a full-time Executive Director, who acts as an advocate for downtown and downtown businesses. All projects fall under one of four operating committees, Outreach, Promotion, Economic Support and Design.

Organization Committee:
Administratively coordinates the efforts of the organization - enhancing communications through publicity, brochures and newsletters, a speakers bureau and other means, promoting volunteer recruitment and developing fundraising strategies.

Design Committee:
Enhances the physical appearance of the downtown district by encouraging rehabilitation of historic buildings, downtown landscaping, encouraging sensitive new construction through design suggestions and long-term planning.

Economic Restructuring Committee:
Strengthens the downtown district's existing economic base while finding ways to expand it to meet new opportunities and challenges from outlying development. Assists small businesses and promotes cooperation among the downtown merchants.

Promotions Committee:
Markets the traditional commercial district's assets to customers, tourists, potential investors, new businesses and local ctizens. Produces special events throughout the year to bring people downtown.

The TEAM Jaffrey volunteers are leading efforts to make downtown Jaffrey a "destination." Our Award-winning Main Street Volunteers are working to revitalize our commercial district by focusing on our unique architecture, rich history and strong sense of community.
The TEAM Jaffrey Program is a part of the National Main Street Program developed by the National Trust for Historic Preservation, which naturally promotes historic preservation and economic revitalization of traditional business districts throughout the United States. An economically viable and active downtown is essential to the overall health and vitality of Jaffrey.
The TEAM Jaffrey Program and the community have been recognized for excellence by being awarded Outstanding New Hampshire Main Street Community of 2001, Great American Main Street Semi-finalist of 2003, and more than eleven individual projects receiving awards of excellence by the New Hampshire Main Street Center.
TEAM Jaffrey Volunteers include town residents, business people, visitors and others, all working together to improve downtown Jaffrey.
TEAM Jaffrey Volunteers contribute a wide range of interests, skills and abilities to help us build a stronger community.
TEAM Jaffrey Volunteers make new friends while they help to strengthen the character and vitality of downtown Jaffrey, help to organize and promote events, projects, brochures, historic preservation, or assist with routine tasks.
